The Golden Triangle Epic is Bendigo's premier mountain bike marathon challenge offering five spectacular event distances over a scenic course consisting of awesome single track and fire trails, including taking in sections of the Goldfields (Leanganook) Track. We have listened to your feedback from last year and are happy to say that there will be no changes to the course for 2018 - giving you the opportunity to test yourself against last years effort.

The five distances cater for all levels of riders:

150km - The 100 Miler is the Ultimate adventure (3 Laps)
100km Epic - Traditional marathon distance (2 Laps), this event is also the Victorian round of the MTBA XCM National Series.
50km Shorty - Plenty of sweet single track (1 Lap)
30km Miner - Development race of 30km race for U15's (2 laps of 15k course) as well as a little longer distance for the new riders to the sport.
15km Pioneer - This loop is designed to encourage kids and beginners to get a taste of mountain biking action

The event starts and finishes at Pendlebury Park opposite the One Tree Hill Hotel in Spring Gully, about a 5min drive or 15 minute ride along the Back Creek Trail from the CBD fountain.

As always the emphasis is on having fun putting on a great event for serious racers through to novices in participation events.
There will be catering on hand and competitors can freshen up with a shower after crossing the finish line.
If you have not ridden Bendigo trails before you are in for a real treat with many people enjoying the terrain and trails offered, but don't bring your light weight sidewall tires (grab yourself some high quality Maxxis rubber).
